We’re hiring another co-head grower!

We currently have two co-head grower positions available, to start as soon as possible. We are building a dynamic, collaborative, and experienced team of growers for next season here at the farm. The full team includes three co-head growers (including this role), a seasonal grower and a harvesting and membership coordinator.

The focus of this particular role is plant propagation and leading on polytunnel production. We’re looking for a passionate grower who is committed to agroecological food systems to join our team. In addition to ensuring that we are able to provide our members with the best possible share of delicious organic vegetables for 52 weeks of the year, you will be part of a team who collectively oversee the running of the farm.

Stroud Community Agriculture (SCA) is an organic and biodynamic community-supported agriculture farm (CSA) close to Stroud , Gloucestershire. We feed 300 households who purchase vegetable shares ranging from half shares to double shares. SCA has been feeding the local community for more than 20 years, making it one of the longest standing CSAs in the country.

To apply for this role please email a CV of relevant experience together with a cover letter to molly [AT] gaianeconomics.org, who can also provide a full job description on request.

Closing date for applications: Sunday 23rd November 2025.

We will be offering half day trials on the farm together with an interview on Thursday 27th November or Friday 28th November.

We are holding a Q&A session with two of our current growers to answer any queries on the positions, on Tuesday 28th October from 5.30-6.30pm. To participate please email alex [AT] stroudcommunityagriculture.org and we will share a meeting link with you.

We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
