It’s that time of year again when we hold our Annual General Meeting, the main business of which is to review and celebrate the year, approve the accounts and elect the core group for the following year.
It will be held at the Trinity Rooms in Stroud on Saturday 28th of October from 3 to 5pm.
Many of our members will know our AGM is a pleasant, informative meeting with opportunity to meet the team, find out what’s going on and meet other members – refreshments provided.
At the moment, Stroud Community Agriculture is urgently seeking volunteer trustees to join a small group overseeing the wellbeing of the farm community. It is a great opportunity to learn about and support an important local community organisation. If interested or to find out more, please email us or talk to us at the AGM.
At the AGM members will be invited to find out more about the changes endorsed by the Core Group and to approve the accounts.
We will also have a presentation titled “Traditional Orchards: a Unique Resource” – by Dave Kaspar and Helen Brent-Smith, our landlords, producers of Day’s Cottage Apple Juice & Cider and members of the Gloucestershire Orchard Group
We hope to see you there!
